Service Description

INTRODUCTION After a brief theoretical introduction over a cup of tea, you’ll begin hands-on experimentation with at least five dye plants, applied to natural fabric swatches (silk, linen, cotton…). You’ll explore a variety of tones and intensities, creating your very own color chart. Then, you’ll create a finished piece — your choice of a small silk scarf (45×45 cm) or a cotton kitchen towel (70×45 cm). You’ll leave the workshop with: → your hand-dyed finished piece → your custom plant-dye color chart → a detailed workbook → and answers to all your questions! The workshop takes place at the Alexandrie dye studio, 28 rue Ernest Renan, 22220 Tréguier. All materials are provided. Please note: Indigo blue is not included in this session, as it requires a specific pre-preparation.
