Terms and Conditions of Sale
1. PURPOSE
These Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations between ALEXANDRIE and the customer purchasing products presented on the website https://www.alexandrie.shop/. They apply exclusively between the sole proprietorship ALEXANDRIE, located at 28 Rue Ernest Renan, 22220 Tréguier, France, registered under SIREN: 987 523 669, and any natural person acting as a consumer who visits or places an order on the website.
Through its website, ALEXANDRIE enables customers to order its branded products online under these general conditions.
Any order placed with ALEXANDRIE implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions.
These terms may be updated at any time without prior notice. The applicable terms are those in force at the time the order is placed.
They are permanently accessible on the website in a downloadable and printable format, allowing customers to save or reproduce them.
2. PRODUCTS AND COMPLIANCE
2.1. The products for sale are described and presented on the website.
2.2. All products comply with applicable French regulations.
Images, descriptions, graphics, and all illustrative materials are for information purposes only and are not contractual. The customer acknowledges this and accepts that ALEXANDRIE shall not be held liable in case of errors, omissions, or changes to such information by suppliers or partners.
3. CUSTOMER OBLIGATIONS
3.1. The customer declares they are at least 18 years old and legally capable, or have parental permission to place an order.
3.2. The customer agrees to provide truthful and necessary information for the service to be performed, including full name, postal address, phone number, and valid email. They are responsible for any consequences arising from false or incorrect information.
3.3. After placing an order, ALEXANDRIE will send a confirmation email and shipping updates.
3.4. The customer can modify their information in the “My Account” section.
4. ORDERS
4.1. Orders are only validated after full payment is accepted.
4.2. ALEXANDRIE reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order in case of a previous dispute with the customer.
4.3. Orders are subject to product availability. If an item is unavailable after the order is placed, the customer will be notified promptly. They may then cancel the order and be refunded. Product unavailability does not entitle the customer to compensation.
5. PRICES
Prices are listed in euros, including all French taxes (VAT), excluding shipping and packaging costs, which are calculated and displayed in the cart before final confirmation.
Prices may be changed at any time without notice due to tax or economic changes.
Products will be invoiced based on the prices in effect at the time of order validation.
6. DELIVERY
ALEXANDRIE ships to France, EU countries, and other international destinations upon request.
Products are shipped to the delivery address provided by the customer. Deliveries cannot be made to hotels or PO boxes.
Delivery times are indicative and depend on accurate and complete customer-provided address details.
If delivery is delayed by more than 10 business days and the product has not yet been shipped, the customer may cancel the order by registered letter and request a refund.
If the order has already been shipped, the refund will be processed once the item is returned in original condition.
Customers must report damaged parcels or missing items within 3 days to both the carrier and ALEXANDRIE.
ALEXANDRIE is not liable for delays outside of its control.
7. PAYMENT
Full payment is required at the time of order. No deposit or down payment is accepted.
Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) or bank transfer. Cheques are not accepted.
By providing card details, the customer authorizes ALEXANDRIE to charge the corresponding amount.
Cash on delivery is not available.
Ownership of products remains with ALEXANDRIE until full payment is received.
Online payments are secure and protected.
Reminder: Taking out credit commits you and must be repaid. Always check your ability to repay before engaging.
8. RETURNS & REFUNDS – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The customer has fifteen (15) days from receipt of the order to request a return.
Returns cannot be processed in department store corners.
Free returns are available from mainland France (including Corsica and Monaco) and most EU countries within 15 days.
To initiate a return, the customer must contact ALEXANDRIE via the “Contact” page or email: info.alexandrie@gmail.com with the order number and product reference.
If returning from outside the EU or not using the prepaid return label, the return costs are the customer’s responsibility—except in case of product defect or error.
Returns are made at the customer’s risk. Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, with original labels and packaging.

If the return conditions are not met, no refund or store credit will be issued.
9. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY
ALEXANDRIE is only bound by a best-effort obligation for all stages of order processing and delivery.
It cannot be held liable for any issues related to internet use (e.g., service interruption, virus, external intrusion) or events qualified as force majeure under French law.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Under no circumstances is the customer authorized to download, modify, or alter any part of the website and, in particular, its content (listed products, descriptions, images, videos, etc.).
This website, in whole or in part, may not be reproduced, copied, sold, or exploited for commercial purposes without the express written consent of ALEXANDRIE.
More generally, all copyrights, trademarks, and other distinctive signs or intellectual property rights appearing on the website remain the full and exclusive property of ALEXANDRIE.
The customer agrees to respect these intellectual property rights and may not use any trademarks appearing on the website or on the products, nor file any trademark that may infringe on the rights holder, unless expressly agreed otherwise in a written contract. The same applies to any other intellectual property rights.
11. PRIVACY POLICY AND LIABILITY
ALEXANDRIE is committed to using customers’ confidential information solely for the operation of its website.
To ensure smooth order processing, personal data collected from the customer will be subject to computer processing. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts this.
Such information may be shared with ALEXANDRIE’s technical service providers as necessary for the execution of the order.
In addition, ALEXANDRIE may use technical tools to gather non-personal data (e.g., number of visits to specific pages) in order to improve the site’s features.
In accordance with French law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, amended by law no. 2004-801 of August 6, 2004, the customer has the right to access, rectify, or delete personal data stored by ALEXANDRIE.

12. FORCE MAJEURE
In the event of a force majeure event, the affected party must notify the other within fifteen (15) days from the occurrence of said event by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
By express agreement, the following are considered force majeure events or unforeseeable circumstances, in addition to those usually recognized by French courts: total or partial strikes, lockouts, riots, boycotts or other industrial action, civil unrest, insurrection, war, adverse weather, epidemics, transport or supply blockages of any kind, earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, water damage, government or legal restrictions, changes in legal or regulatory frameworks for commerce, computer failure, telecommunication blockages (wired or wireless networks), and any event beyond the parties' control that prevents normal execution of the contract.
All contractual obligations of the parties shall be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event, without compensation.
If such an event continues for more than three (3) months, either party may terminate the contract without compensation.
13. GENERAL PROVISIONS
13.1. PARTIAL INVALIDITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, it shall be deemed unwritten without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
13.2. UPDATES
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time without notice. The applicable version is the one in effect at the time of the customer’s order.
They are permanently accessible on this page in a digital format suitable for printing or downloading, allowing customers to reproduce or store them.
13.3. GOVERNING LAW – JURISDICTION
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law, both in substance and form.
Any dispute must first be subject to an attempt at amicable resolution.
In the absence of amicable settlement, disputes shall be submitted to the competent French courts, even in cases involving multiple defendants or third-party proceedings.

The seller must deliver goods in conformity with the contract and is liable for any lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery. This includes issues arising from packaging, assembly instructions, or installation when such has been agreed in the contract or carried out under the seller’s responsibility. -

To comply with the contract, the good must:

– Match the description provided by the seller and possess the qualities presented to the customer as a sample or model;
– Have the qualities a customer can reasonably expect, based on public statements by the seller, manufacturer, or their representative, including advertising or labeling; -
Or possess the characteristics mutually agreed upon, or be suitable for any special use sought by the customer, made known to the seller and accepted by them.

Article L. 211-12 of the Consumer Code:
Claims for lack of conformity must be made within two (2) years from the delivery of the goods. -
Article 1641 of the French Civil Code:
The seller is liable for hidden defects in the sold item that render it unfit for its intended use or diminish its usefulness to the point that the buyer would not have purchased it, or would have paid a lower price, had they known about the defects. -
Article 1648 paragraph 1 of the Civil Code:
Claims resulting from hidden defects must be filed by the buyer within two (2) years from the date the defect is discovered.
